The pindo palm.

 The pindo Palm can tolerate temperatures down to 10 degrees Fahrenheit giving sunlight and optimal growing conditions. Pindo Palms do not like to be very wet during the cold Winters which lasts for 2 in a half months. They sometimes need to be protected during unusually cold Winters.

They don't look very attractive and are basically Sabal minor that can tolerate a little more than Sabal minor can. They evolved from Sabal minor but are not Sabal minor. Sabal glacies is a separate species. They are the only palm tree native to Ohio because no other palm trees have been known to grow in Ohio.
